These Trade Names relate only to plastics and
a few other polymers. The list is mainly historical, including many names which have had a very short
existence as well as those which have become
commonplace.
Many of the names were given by manufacturers
who fabricated objects using plastics materials made by another
manufacturer.

The list is still under construction, and only
trade names taken
from sources prior to about
1933 are included.
