How to become a member of the PHS Membership is open to all and is by annual payment Click here for an Application Form* which may be
printed using the print command on your browser. If you would prefer to receive
an application Form by post, please email * to return to this page after printing the application form use the 'back arrow' at the top left of your screen. If, after completing your
application form, you would like to pay for your membership electronically
with PayPal, please
click on the appropriate PayPal button below and
enter your details in the electronic form. Please note that you do not need a PayPal account to use
this method of payment. PayPal offers the option of paying with any of the

The annual fee for individual membership depends upon your postal address, but the corporate membership fee is the same worldwide.
The membership year
starts on 1 May and runs through to 30 April of the following year. Members joining
after 1 May will receive all publications issued to members between 1 May and
the date of their joining, but will need to renew their membership on 1 May
of the following year. Those joining during the period 1 February to 30 April
will receive all publications issued from the date of their joining and
membership will continue through until 30 April of the following year.On
first joining, members will be sent a membership
card detailing the current year's activities and password for accessing the Archive
Members will receive regular copies of the Society's
journal plastiquarian (published twice yearly) together with Newsletters
(published four times per year). PHS holds an extensive library of books and other
publications, together with a fine collection of artefacts, all of which are
available for members to see. Members are encouraged to contact the Society for advice
about the cleaning and care of plastics & rubbers, and for any historical
